Each one appears in the notch, sizes itself to whatever it has to say, and leaves. Here are eight of them — pick any and it runs in the demo above.
The HUD, replaced
macOS puts a grey slab in the centre of your screen to say the volume changed. OreoNotch says it from the notch, where your eye already is, and then it's gone.
The Tray
Drag a file at the notch and it parks there. Switch spaces, switch apps, switch displays — it's still there, ready to drag back out. The oldest trick in the Mac book, without the round trip through the Desktop.
Clipboard
A clipboard history is only worth having if you can trust it with the machine it runs on. OreoNotch honours the flags password managers set — a concealed clip is never written down, not even briefly.

Privacy
Your to-dos and notes sync through your own iCloud, which we can't read. Your clipboard, your files and your calendar never leave the Mac at all. OreoNotch does ask this site whether there's an update, and checks your licence when you activate one — the privacy page says exactly what those two requests contain, and nothing else is sent.

No. OreoNotch needs a licence before it starts showing activities — $12.99, paid once, for every Mac you own. The notch at the top of this page is the real thing rather than a screenshot, so you can put it through every state before you decide.
Yes. Buying from India goes through Dodo Payments, which takes UPI, cards and net banking, and it happens automatically — there is nothing to pick. Everywhere else goes to Gumroad, which handles cards. Either way you get the same licence, the same key, and the same box to paste it into. If you are in India but land on the card checkout, use this link for UPI.
OreoNotch checks for updates and asks before installing anything. Each one is signed and notarised, and it never updates silently. See the changelog.
A sandboxed version is coming. The App Store's rules don't allow a few things the direct build does — suppressing the system HUD, and launching other apps — so that version has those switched off.
